PLC Lab connector test
Download the connectorThis page comes from our website. It talks only to the PLC Lab Connector running on this computer at http://127.0.0.1:8770. The PLC connection stays on this computer.
1. The PLC
Micro800 and Logix: the global variable or controller tag names, as in the PLC project.
The PLC needs one rung for this test: a normally open contact of the control driving the output. Each platform remembers its own address and tag names in this browser.
2. Connect
NOT CONNECTED
Browser permission (apps on this device): checking
Connector: not contacted yet
PLC: no session
Pairing: this browser is not paired yet

The PLC Lab Connector is not answering on this PC. This page keeps looking until it does; nothing needs to be pressed once it is installed. If it is not installed yet, install it once:
- Double-click
PLC-Lab-Connector.msi. It installs for your Windows user only, with no administrator, in a few seconds. - If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. (The connector is not signed yet.)
- Come back here and press Connect. The browser asks to open PLC Lab Connector: tick always allow. That is all; nothing else appears and nothing is typed.
The connector from this page only answers this page's address. It reads and writes PLC tags and nothing else. It runs only while this page uses it. Settings, Apps removes it. School IT can install the same file for every user of a PC (msiexec /i PLC-Lab-Connector.msi /qn from an administrator prompt, Intune or Group Policy); it then runs as a Windows service and nothing is asked.
